1. All people attending convention must register and pay the registration fee shown in the SCALE OF CHARGES as follows: a) Adult Full Package purchased FROM 01 December2007 £65.00 (full package includes a 3-day registration fee of £25.00 & all show tickets)
b) FTE Full Package purchased FROM 01 December2007 £50.00 (full package includes a 3-day registration fee of £15.00 & all show tickets)
c) Junior Full Package purchased FROM 01 December2007 £32.00 (full package includes a 3-day registration fee of £10.00 & all show tickets)
d) Day Registration:- Adult -£25.00 / FTE -£20.00 / Junior -£15.00 e) Saturday night show ticket:- Adult: £15.00 / FTE: £12.00 / Junior: £10.00 f) Sunday afternoon show ticket:- Adult: £15.00 / FTE: £12.00 / Junior: £10.00 g) Sunday night show ticket:- Adult: £8.00 / FTE: £6.00 / Junior: £4.00 h) A delegate entitled to a free registration should deduct the appropriate 3-day registration figure of £25.00, £15.00 or £10.00 as shown in 1a), b) or c) above. Entitlement for free registration is determined by the Special Events Director but
is generally restricted to VIPs, show acts, retiring chorus & quartet champions, judging panel & convention team. In these circumstances show tickets are not included with a free registration and these must be purchased unless indicated
otherwise by the Special Events Director. Show ticket requirements must be shown on the registration form.
2. All Seats for both competitions and shows will be allocated by the Registration’s Manager on a ‘first come, first served’
basis. Whilst it is understood that some allocated seats will not be used at all times during the competitions please ensure that if you sit in a seat that is not allocated to you that on request you immediately give it up to the person to whom it is
allocated.
3. A full package includes 3 day’s registration, access to all fringe events, competitions and shows and is available from 01 December 2007 at a discounted rate when compared to the purchase of separate day registrations and show tickets for adults, those in full time education (FTE) & juniors subject to entitlement (see note 1 above & notes 6 and 7 below).
4. A day registration provides entry to all fringe events & competitions for the day(s) of purchase only. Shows are NOT included with this registration.
5. A show ticket purchased with a day registration gives access to a show on the selected day of registration only.
6. Full Time Education (FTE) rates are available to those people who are 16 years and under 25 years on the 1st day of convention and who are currently in full time education (proof of FTE will be required).
7. Junior rates are available to those who are 5 years and under 16 years on the 1st day of convention (proof of age may be required). Children under 5 years on the 1st day of convention have free entry. People under 18 years should be
accompanied by an adult at all times & national drinking regulations apply in the convention centre.
8. Registrations received quoting any of the previous discounted full package rates will be returned with a request for
resubmission at the appropriate full package rate as shown in note 1 a), b), & c) above.
9. In order to ensure processing and delivery before convention, the closing date for receipt of registrations and show tickets
is 19 April 2008. After that date it may not be possible to process your application until convention when delays may be experienced at the BABS reception.
10. Registration name badges and show tickets will be despatched to the nominated co-ordinator or individual applicant as soon as is practicable.
11. On arrival at convention on production of your registration name badge to the BABS reception desk you will be provided with a registration pack which will include a name badge holder & programme of events. It is essential that you wear your
registration name badge at all times during convention. Lost name badges and show tickets will only be replaced following a successful identity and payment check. Your patience whilst this check is carried out will be appreciated. Any disputes
will be referred to the Special Events Director whose decision will be final.
12. Cancellations or changes to this booking will incur an administration charge of £5.00 per person payable with each request for cancellation or change. All refunds will be at the discretion of the Special Events Director although they will not normally be given without good reason.
13. Special seating arrangements & access – Any arrangements for special needs delegates must be made to the Registration’s Manager prior to the event and preferably at the time of booking.
14. Payment will be accepted by Cheque and Credit /Debit Card. Cheques should be made payable to ‘BABS’. In order to process a credit/debit card via WorldPay, in addition to the card number, issue number (if appropriate), expiry date and 3
digit security number you will also need to provide the name of the card holder, the address of the card holder and a contact telephone number. Please note that sending credit card details by open e-mail is not secure. If you wish to e-mail
credit card details please supply the first & third group of numbers and card name on one e-mail followed by the second & fourth group of numbers and card expiry date on a second e-mail. The address & telephone number can be on either
email.
